As some of you may have noticed, I've been trying to figure out what the rule are (not what they may or may not be construed as) before spending a bunch more of my money on highbankers etc... I may have been over thinking this and stressing for nothing. Check out this vid of a guy on the Coquihalla River using a highbanker (if you can call it that, it's pretty dodgy).

Hi folks... I'm about to start digging some holes on my claims and I'm looking for any links that anyone may have to read to make sure I don't violate any DFO or other laws.... one of my claims has a nice river running through it but I've heard mixed stories of how close to the water I can dig a hole, if I can dig one in the actual water yadda yadda yadda... Don't spend tons of time writing long messages about various laws, I appreciate it but I'm looking for govt...

Anyone know of a good mining attorney. I'm throwing in the towel and giving up trying to fight every agency out there in hopes of getting a little bit of gold. I've been cited for everything under the sun. Some of the violations were valid such as the ones in which I was cited for having improper labels on drums....drums were labeled apple juice and actually contained concentrate gold that was obtained though mechanical means hence no chemicals where used to obtain...

Anyone know the regs on digging a shaft,,cant get on MTO and even if i could would probably take me a month to find it
was just curious to know what they say about it,,in case i want to go down 20 ft.and get them nuggets

Here's the link to MTOnline http://www.mtonline.gov.bc.ca/ where the opening page has another link to the May 14 Bulletin. The bulletin explains the new regulation that requires the prospector to notify, 8 days in advance, every land title owner about any and all mining -related activities planned.
There may be hundreds of different land title possibilites that involve your claim or prospecting area. The Ministry suggests...

I took 4 claim's an joined them in to one big claim.......so now it is 115 hectare cell under one name {cooper}#533602....my ??? is can I now put in one work report for this or do I still have to put in the 4 report's???they all join together an they let me join them under one name an it has one date for reporting....but they still have info on the claim's as they were an the new big joined cell.....I would hate to see that they took $40.00 to join them an I still have to report them...
