Hi Folks; I have some old equipment that I want to get rid of. A large hopper about 4x8 feet, it's got the vibrator on the bottom and a variety of screens with 2 outfeeds. It's old, it's ugly, it's FREE, bring a hiab. it's south of Lillooet on the Fraser. I also have a large table that looks like a conveyor setup it's about 4 feet wide and about 10 feet long. Recovery Systems?

What is the best recovery system? Anyone want to give their opinion? Jigs, Sluice, Vibrating ect. I'm looking for something that can adapt to different size gold. 10-30yrds per hour.

Hi boys and girls.... a friend of mine has what she calls a Keene Sluice Box with B&S engine that she says floats on the surface and is used for dredging that I've offered to buy. I'm still waiting on more information but looking at the Keene site it's probably something like this:

I thought that this is important when designing a sluice box. This is the system I use I am not sure if there is newer studies out there.

You don't have to charge GST on your gold when you sell it 99.5% or better(to a refiner). If you sell it under that % you have to charge gst if you have $30,000.00 or better Revenue. Check with your acountant on this if it is an issue for you.
