Might just take you up on that Troy. And just to let you know while I was out hunting found some old steel culvert pipe , not the corigated stuff but straight steel pipe 18 to 20" ID .250" wall 2 lenghts about 20' long. Im thinking trommel material!!!

The highbanker was bought from an old timer in Quesnel that bought it from the fellow who made them. The one you see looks identical to mine.....if it is from the same guy who made mine, he past away a couple yrs ago and i'm not sure if those are still in stock. They may have been copied or just simply an old add. The price for that particular highbanker (i heard) was $2500 but that came with the clean up sluice hoses and the dredge nozzle. They work really well especially for fine and...

Awsome JROC, I bet your excited about that!!!! I believe you would be below my claim if you have Victoria flowing through. Yes you bet...nice country out there for sure. Havent been able to get out much because of work but next year will be a different story. Did you get that legacy claim 379575? If so you are directly below me. Howdy neighbor!!!

Hey Skidoo

i was just checking out the google pic of your claim on the swift.It seems i just bought the claim right beside you up the river a bit...i think it is right beside you, i will have to check MTO but my claim is the one where Victoria creak flows into the swift, really nice spot. we will have to get together some time and talk strategy....lol.

See the straight stretch of the river on lower right?
There is a dark green patch of trees to the left....thats where, i may have to do a little trimming this year to get back further close to the side of the hill....i'm figuring it will be better there but who knows. Couple more weeks ....ya hooo
But again i'm off to the black gold in Alberta, 10 in 4 out which will be nice. 4 days on the claim at...

Awsome site here....lots of good reading but nothing here on the Swift other than "Gold Fever" likes to snipe in that area. Would be nice to hear of any old and new findings in that area as ive aquired 3 cells on the river and to the west.I've done alot of prospecting in that area and found what is believed to be a moraine. Is this typical of this area? Tested the top and bottom of it and yes was surprised to find nice flake and flour gold on surface. There isnt very much info on...
