20 tears later you can still see the black sands, the next pictures shows how much black sand is still ozing from the blue wall. thats a good sign .

Befor we found the blue ground, we spent mounths following the black sand from the vally below, we knew the mine was in the water shead, but we did not know
where, so we started panning the mosses, we kept following it up, but the sourse kept iluding us. when we finaly found the tiny raven, hidden by the logging
road, we followed it up from the road and steped into the pitt, the walls where blue and we could see the black sand ozzing from the walls. we knew we found
the russians old mine.

the silver , under magnification turned out to be , slate , gold , silver and garnit.
this is the identical peice of quartz the old timer hacked from a mine wall in 1920. minus the 1 oz chunk of gold sticking out .

funny story, i mentioned "i cant dig because of problems with my back/spine". my dr x ray-ed my back and asked me when i broke my back. i said,
"i never broke my back", he said "yes you did and its still broken". in 2003 they told me i compressed some disks, now i am told i broke a
vertebra, good to know.
more from the blue clay soon.
