Well my mentor seems to think highly of them (he's a silent mentor at this time so remaining annon but is a member of this site). .... Sign me up...
I'm in for one on my next payday (just recovering from buying half of the mountain (claims) near Bridge/Yalakom) ...... now I need to source a pump and
hoses.. Dang.. and a truck... Hey Crommie, ya reckon this would fit in the BMW M5?...NOT... Time for a Tahoe or Suburban. Jen

It would fit in the back seat. It's only 4ft. long. No prob or tie it on the roof. I'm all over those boxes! I love the spray bar and how it with boil
the tar out of the material. And the miners moss in the top with the expanded metal.

(glancing over at him). By the way, we're headed up to the claims tomorrow to swing the Minelab GPX-4500... picked up a nice pick the other day, wired up my external "SCARE THE POOP OUTTA THE BEARS" speaker, have all my goodies packed, going to leave oooooober (super) early tomorrow and be there for breakfast. I wonder if I can rent a truck in town so I don't need to drag the BMW into the hills.

Sounds great Care-A-Boo..... put my name on the list for one, let me know where to buy a pumparooonie and hoses if you have a recommendation....
Thanks for the "good luck" tomorrow... if I get out of there without bear or cougar marks covering my body, I'll consider it a good start... I bought lots of bear bang and cat nip and picked up "Please don't shoot me, I'm not a deer Mr. Drunk Hunter" vest as well... they'll see me from space with this bad boy... heheeh check it out: http://www.deakin.com/shop/products/?p=5302 Jen

Very nice work D'arcy, very professional looking. I like the boil box design with the inspection tray opposed to a standard highbanker or trommel. If a guy
suspected any quartz-gold specimins that may get by in a regular unit this would work out great for areas like that. Does the process of cleaning out,
inspecting , and sweeping the tray slow things down much compaared to a standard highbanker? Hopefully you will have one in action at the Quesnell forks
campout this year and i can see one first hand.

D'arcy: That is an awesome looking rig. Just a quick "over the net" look says you put a ton of thought AND effort into it.
I've no doubt that a purchaser will be happy. Jen : I had a surveyors version of that cruiser vest several tens of years ago --- only problem was it had so d** many pockets --- so naturally "I" had to put something in each one --- the D** thing weighed a ton --- empty some pockets you say --- never occured to me --- must be a guy thing. |

Thanks........guy's glad you like it...
...........well I got
thinking about this and I like building things more then marketing... .......so how's this sounding.....$600.......oh - that goes for you to Jen.........I think this is fair.......you know - cost + time and so
on.......I crunched the numbers an came up with A better one.........I don't want to mine the miner so this should work out better for all.......I enjoy
building things an hate the salesman end of it but they go hand in hand.....oh an I have no bridges for sale..
May the fever be with you. |
