Hey Brett,
I believe are talking about links on Minfile reports to Assessment Reports. I already contacted MTO about this. They suggested the best way to get those reports is to write down the Ass't report number and enter it into the AR Box on this ARIS web-page : http://aris.empr.gov.bc.ca/. Then click on Search. I found that copy and pasting the number caused me trouble. That's why I recommend writing and typing. I keep that link in Favourites and I open ARIS in another window so I can go back to the map quickly. It's too bad the Minfile links don't work anymore. Used to be quick and easy. It's not bad the way I suggested, once you do it a few times.

Having downloaded all the Annual Mine Reports for BC from 1874 to 1964 I can tell you it takes some time to download and sometimes your computer will just freeze up, best just to walk away and come back later to ckeck. There is a fair bit of info there if one is inclined to read it all. I'm about 2/3s of the way through now and the amount of infomation I've got floating around upstairs right now would almost give you a headache. Geological Survey of Canada has some pretty neat stuff to look at also...Greywolf |
