know I'm guilty for not spending as much time at it this year.

Hi Darcy and others....
I was out on my claims today.... left Vancouver yesterday morning, drove up the Coquihalla and then over to Cache Creek, grabbed a hotel. God up early and went and checked out some new claims that I bought sight unseen for detecting in the Kamloops area. Then headed over to Lillooet via Cache Creek and Fountain area. Drove over to my claim on the upper Fountain/Fraser area for a visual inspection (no work). Then drove over to my the end of the Bridge River near the dam to see my other claims (water level, access etc as some I purchased from someone based on description, not having seen physically). I then did a bit of detecting and sniping on my Yalakom claims but didn't find anything.... still trying to learn how to work this Minelab PI machine without digging all the hot ground.... it's frustrating but I'm sure once it clicks, it'll be great.... I still haven't boughten a pump for that Boiler Box I purchased from you and my trips out tend to be one day or just over one nighters so I'm not really giving it much of a chance...... kind of hard to pack all this stuff into a car.. once I get a Tahoe or Suburban I can take more and access more of my claims. Now that I've seen some of the access and not having a truck, I'll probably sell a few of my claims as they need a bit higher clearance than a BMW on low profile tires 
I did have fun watching my dog enjoying the fish that were swimming upstream in the Yalakom from the Fraser... it was a bit of a surprise to see such big salmon running considering the huge dam that's on the river. Long days, lots of dust... the car is FULL of dust but it was fun.... Jennifer

Ive been working claims in my area VERY HARD!!!! moved 12 yards pick and shovel in 3 days. I Live close by, so im out there almost every day. And when I go, I
go all out!!!!

Well Mike and I went to Quenal and check out 4 of his claims, did a little panning, found a few flakes. My friend harry and I went up the Coquihalla and tried
to goto the Caroline mines but a logging truck stopped us. Not much eles but I have 2 weeks off at the end of OCT. I hope to get some panning in while the
fraser river is low. I bought a 16 foot Zodiac and trailer with a 40hp motor so I can get to hard places if needed. Let me know if anyone needs a lift across
the river and I will take gold as payment. they have to be BIG nuggets, none of that flour stuff.

I'd better chime in to show us AB boys are diggin too.
Left Wednesday > returned today [ Monday] Did some sluicing with the Copper Trommel washing the rocks squeeky clean. Had my Pops [ 86 years young] along for 1 day. After he passed Quad Driveing 101 he did a shift or two on the shouvel. Mainly getting hi grade cons to finish up in the garage this winter. Lots of hunters and fisher's around --- and every one of them stopped by to chat with a hat full of questions.... Found a little gold and had a 1000$ worth of fun. Ken |

success. Enjoying your new vidz as always Darcey, sorry to hear about your detector Jen, If you paid what I think you did for it, you would have thought they
would have used gold solder. Sounds like your a one man shovling machine Matt,
 Don't pay the Hammertime Till he get's you to the otherside.. GSLJet If you got a nugget for every question you answered you'd have thousands worth of gold to go with your millions worth of fun!, Sounds likes Pops could give Matt a run for his gold on the shovel.. While prospecting open ground on a tributary of a local gold (BEAR)ing RIVER
on the west coast of the Island I came across A slide covered shaft enterance I could find no history past or present panned some floor scrapin's and was
surprised at the gold that came off it. Plan on going back and taking some chip samples of the quartz vein and possibly staking it.. Here's a few

Well its been awhile , so here's what I have been doing this year.July and part of Aug.was a complete loss being in hospital ,etc. still have to take it
easy but doing what I can. Here are some photo's from this years trips ,hope to get out a few more times before winter sets in.

Just started this year, bout a month ago, broke trail and found a nice spot but havn't washed a shovel full yet. Hopin to get back before the snow flies!!
My last outing we pulled into our parking spot to find a truck and holiday trailer parked there. The 2 older fellas said they were hunting for moose so we told
them we were hunting for glod on my claim. The next day we went back to find the camper still there. We decided to follow thier tracks to see what they were up
to. Found them upstream on an open cell but they had a metal detector and a sluece. We pulled out our G.P.S. and pretended to be marking settings and such
lol!! They packed up and took off after that. Being a newbie it was kinda funny!! Hope to have some pics of the nuggets to share in the future. Thanks.

Finally was able to get out for a day and was up around Old Camp Creek. Found a lump of quartz with some gold flecks in it. Now I have to teach Dakota how to
smell out gold and watch him dig. He surely is big enough... Hope to get out with a couple of the people on here before winter...
