Darcy another great vid.
That rock cradle works real good ! Did you have that made up in town? And yup you drive like a logger , hammer down and dodging wind blow makes the potholes much smoother .

HAHAHA Great stuff D'arcy!
When i was much younger i would have been there in the front seat whooping and laughing
Now i would kinda leave finger dents in the dash and be whimpering........you did speed up the camera didn't you?
I used to buy old but often never used tire chains cheap at the local thrift store to use for pulling boulders. Your gonna do some more rock moving i hope? Yer killin me here bud but i love it!

Thanks guy's.. I like the old tire chain idea......just the right shape as well........I was thinking on cutting A old mudder tier in half an jimmying A chain to hook up
to.....the rubber should really grip the rock an stop the slipping.....one of my pet peeves - re-hooking up the rock over an over........A tire chain with some
rubber would be good to.....Hhmm

Hi d'arcy
you could all ways take a 24v cordless and drill hole and use a reusable expander pin like in rock climing and hook chain to it job done and no coming of just an idea or use half a poly track off a bobcat to go around the rock ps grait vid as allways and no you are not driving like a logger here in OZ we would say you are chasing roo's allan |

Another great video D'arcy. To bad i live almost a thousand K away or i would offer to come help you move those pesky pebbles. Your drivin isn't that
scary, that's just the way Toyotas like to be driven, as long as she stays shiny side up it's all good. (one memorable wheelin day went "hey Mike,
hold my beer we may roll here. Whack thump. Yup......Uh-huh..... Hey! you didn't spill my beer did you?.....me Hell NO!, but i can't seem to swallow
while we are upside down."
I like the rock choker too, i have moved a lot of rocks at work with just straps and chains but havent used anything quite like that before, looks like it would grip good and help with those annoying little slips when you are trying to rig it yourself. I'm not sure what the future will bring but i know i sure think alot more and alot harder about getting myself out of this rat race and into somewhere i can live a more peacefull and hopefully fulfilling life. ;D Keep it up with the cool vid's i really enjoy them. Great video, as usual, Darcy.
Well done. I used to have a floating
winch in California. Could pick up a 5,000 pound boulder. Kinda like a floating overhead shop hoist. The up/down controls were under water for the divers. We
found that the slipping sling/choker problem was reduced a lot by using nylon slings. The wide surface area of the strap and softness, gave a much better grip
on those slippery boulders than the normal steel variety. They are light and nicer to work with. We never wore one out. Cheers!
