Hey Mark, you shouldn't have to post links like that anymore.
Try this. Click on "Add Reply" Just above the message box there are a list of 27 icons and then spellcheck Click on the "Insert Image From Photobucket" icon, should be just next to the "Insert Smilies" icon Your pictures from photobucket should show up between the message box and the icon list. If your picture is not there click on "Refresh" Click on the picture you want to post and it should appear right in the message box. I hope this helps. Eric |

I looked at your photobucket account and saw all the pics.
What is your goal? If the crystals can be removed in large chunks or as good specimens, you may be able to sell them on ebay or collectors that way. If it's gold you are after, get some assayed or look for visible gold. I know there were some nice quartz (with native gold attached) specimens that came from the upper Leech here on Van Isle. Worth more that way. If you don't own the mineral rights, get them. It's cheap! The assay may show any number of things and can be used as work credits. Keith |

Seeing that the title of this thread is "Quartz Vein", I figured this would be the best place, as any to post a link to a photograph that is on Page
36 of a mining report. I tried to just send the single page but too problematic. So, here's the link to the 36 page article. Go to the last page, page 36,
to see the most delicious, tasty looking gold vein you can imagine. I think this one runs 500 ounces to the ton! Or more!

The gold you are showing has traveled some distance, if it we're from the adjacent quartz, it would be sharp, jaged, and possibly crystalline. |
