Maybe when the photo contest is over the CGMA could put together a 2010 calender with the top 12 photos in it and all the profits going to a good cause like
the museum.....or. I know I would purchase one there's some great shots so far.keep up the good work folks

Hey Guttersniper,
Where is that photo of the waterfall taken? And how about the seals? Where was that? Yeah, I would think you could definately make one awsome calander. I don't think it's going to be easy for the judge to even pick out just 12 photos will be a hard job. Tanya

Hi Tanya,the water fall shot is bonelle creek and the harbour seals are at fishermans wharf in Victoria a friend has a fish store(gold mine)there and makes a
killing selling herring to the tourists to feed to the seals .

D'arcy,
How do you get that blurred look around your photos edges. Do you have a camera where you have to change the lenses? Or do you do this with a photo program? Thanks, Tanya |

Kalum Lake is north of Terrace.Great winter day near the first of Feb. about one week later there was ice on this lake.

Was going through some photos and found this one that was taken last summer.

Great idea for the contest, what a great way to see a lot of good pics. I also like the idea of a calander, if someone had the time and energy i bet it would
be a big seller at the cgma campout. There are some great pics up already and with the good timeline i can hardly wait to see what people will be posting
once spring decides to sprung. Here are a couple shots of mine.
Good thing the rules aren't too strict. I could never choose just one pic to post.

D'arcy, I bought photoshop before and couldn't figure it out, I found it too difficult for me so I returned it to the store. That blurred edge on your photos sure gives them a cool unique effect though. Ernie, We don't have photobucket because everytime I go on that site it says someone is trying to access your information, so unfortunately, I don't even look at any of the photobucket links people have on this site. We are missing out on all those videos people are posting. We have had no problem viewing the youtube videos though. Dave, ohhh, Bowron Lake, I have been there and we saw so much wildlife, beautiful place. |
