A shaft in Barkerville.......I like how they did this and it sure gives me idea's on what to do.......one of my goals is to dig A shaft to old river

a simple life, just have to work every minute of daylight a day to eat and survive. I am sure their would be some interesting smells, stuck out in the bush for
months with just a few of you buddies(and not just relaxing working hard everyday).
 LOL I think we all owe them pioneers something they had a hard life. I
find it funny then when someone whines about something that isn't hardly worth whining about. like global down turn, the pioneers were in a down turn most
of there lifes. I am sure we all wish to have the gold that they had access too. but I dont' want to whine lol
Really good pics thanks Darcy for showing us all. To have an afternoon with one of the oldtimers would be great the stories and wisdom they would share. Ryan |

they lived a hard and wonderful life. I always try to put myself in their place, no easy way to do anything no sleeping in. I try not to take many luxuries
with me gives me a small sense of what they went through.
Thank you for sharing the pics nice way to start the day. |
