Went for a hike up Meade,thinking I had a hot spot,but when i got there somebody had beat me to the punch, they must have done allright cause they dug one
hell of a trench and left all thier gear behind

How far did you go up Mead? Do you know if the road is open up past the tower? I found a few pieces of color a couple of moths ago, just up from the bridge.
Thinking about taking a trip up farther soon. |

Howdy Big Poke,started at the bridge and went quite a ways up approx. 2km ,the road past the tower was closed at the time,managed to find some nice colour
below the canyon but got discouraged futher up as someone had been running a sluice and there was tailing piles everywhere, water was fast and high at the time

take hwy 18 off the island hwy just before Duncan and take a right turn at teleglobe canada road where the big satelite tower is you can also google earth the
lat and long from the minfile summary hope this helps and best of luck
